About Alex Academics
Alex Academics is an individualized virtual ACT Prep program comprised of four 1-hour long sessions spread over two weeks. It has been designed specifically to meet students at their current level of understanding, reinforcing the academic skills they already have, while building the test taking skills and confidence they need specifically for the ACT. Who am I?
My name is Alex Holland and I am a professional ACT tutor with the experience and knowledge to help you achieve your ACT goals.
While in high school, I spent over 400 hours tutoring individuals aged anywhere from 10 – 22 years old in a variety of subjects including Mathematics, Chemistry, and the ACT. Over these years, I have moved to specialize in ACT Prep, and I have since developed a curriculum structured to meet students of any experience level, and grow their current knowledge to help them prepare for and improve on the ACT.
- My curriculum has over 32 pages of information, all taught by me across three sessions
- A fourth session is used for a structured review, based on what I identify as areas for improvement for each individual student
- My curriculum includes all information needed for the English, Mathematics, Reading, Science, and Essay portions of the ACT
- By the end of Alex Academics ACT Prep course, you will also have completed a full-length, official ACT Practice test to work on timing and to ensure you have no questions about the structure and content of the ACT

6 years of tutoring experience have given me the unique ability to adapt to any learning style, ensuring that no matter the student, I am able to convey all information necessary for success on the ACT.
Additionally, I have personally taken the ACT multiple times, and have scored a perfect 36 score on the exam myself. Through my experience taking it, I have learned firsthand what test day is like, the stresses that come with it, and the timing and strategies vital to score highly.
Furthermore, as I am an individual who is rather young, I can relate to the students who are currently studying for the ACT. As a current college freshman, I have the recent relevant experience, and was in the shoes of the students just a few years ago.
Lastly, I actually care about the success of my students. By taking a 1 on 1, individualized approach, I will do whatever it takes to see each and every one of my students reach their goals on the ACT. To me, you’re not just another client. You are a student of my brand, and I ensure you that I will make your experience going through my program a positive one, and you will see according success come on your ACT.
